COVID-19 Updates
The Iowa City Parks and Recreation will be taking to following precautions when conducting their programs.
- Program size will be limited to groups of 10 or less.
- The program format will be instructional based to allow for social distancing.
- All equipment will be sanitized prior to each program.
- Participants and instructors will have temperatures taken prior to each program.
- Instructors are required to wear masks.

Neighborhood Nest Program
Starting Monday, September 21, 2020
The Iowa City Parks and Recreation Department is partnering with United Action for Youth to provide tutoring and activity space for junior high and high school students. Activities will be broken into two sections. 1-2:30 pm will focus on academic tutoring and art programming. 2:30-4 pm programming will focus on enrichment activities. The UAY Recording Studio will also have some limited access. The program is held at Mercer Park Aquatic Center & Scanlon Gym, 2701 Bradford Dr. Iowa City, IA 52240.

Iowa City Boys Baseball serves Iowa City youth with an opportunity to learn baseball, teamwork and meet new friends. Games are played at City Park, 200 E. Park Rd. The Spring season runs April through June.
