Rochester Reconstruction Project

Rochester Avenue will be getting some major upgrades, including new pavement, sidewalk improvements, and buffered bike lanes, from Ralston Creek to N 1st Avenue. Learn how this project will be done in stages beginning in July.

Avoid Firework Fines

Due to public safety concerns, it’s illegal to use fireworks in Iowa City. Violators may face a minimum fine of $250.
