Return of the Bookmobile

Coming to a location near you.  Spring has sprung and the Bookmobile is out and about.  You can now get your library materials at one of the designated stops by placing a hold online and selecting ICPL Bookmobile as the pickup spot.  Tune in to see the stop schedule.

Eastside Iowa City’s Creekside Park has a new name.  This park was recently updated, and now bears the name of a Pulitzer Prize-winning Iowa City resident. Watch to learn more about who James Alan McPherson was.

Public Art Matching Fund Program Applications Due

The deadline to apply for the City’s Public Art Matching Fund program is this Friday, March 26, 2021 at 5 p.m.  The funds will support the creation of art by Iowa City artists working in all kinds of mediums from sculpture to murals to spoken word performances and more.
