Iowa City will host its 33rd Annual Human Rights Awards Breakfast on Wednesday, October 26, 2016 in the Second Floor Ballroom of the University of Iowa Memorial Union, 125 N. Madison Street, Iowa City.

The breakfast will begin at 7:15 a.m. and the program will begin promptly at 7:30. Tickets are $20 per person and are available online at http://33rdawardsbreakfast.eventbrite.com. The deadline to purchase tickets is Friday, October 21. Tickets will not be available the day of the event.

Diane Finnerty, Assistant Provost for Faculty at the University of Iowa will provide the keynote address, “Imagining a World in which Black and Brown Lives Mattered.” During the program, six awards will be presented to individuals, businesses, or organizations whose ongoing work, service, or contributions have positively impacted Human Rights either locally or abroad.
