Celebrate Earth Day and support local reuse efforts during the 4th annual Craft your Environment fair. 
Craft your environment 2017

Join local artists and crafters on Sunday, April 23, 2017 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the East Side Recycling Center, 2401 Scott Blvd, SE, Iowa City. 

This reuse-themed craft fair will showcase creations made from recycled/reclaimed/reused materials.In addition to supporting creative reuse, the fair will offer local food and free, interactive activities and information from area environmental groups. 

As part of this Earth Day celebration, you are encouraged to use alternative forms of transportation to get there, whether it be biking, walking, transit or carpooling. Additional parking will be available next to the East Side Recycling Center at Systems Unlimited. 

There is no charge to attend this event and all are welcome.

Craft Your Environment is presented by the City of Iowa City and Friends of Historic Preservation's Salvage Barn, a warehouse specializing in historic architectural building materials that are 50 years and older. The Salvage Barn is part of Iowa City's landfill diversion program.
