The Iowa City/Johnson County Senior Center (The Center) aims to enhance quality of life by supporting wellness, social connections, community engagement, and lifelong learning for a diverse and growing older adult population.
In order to best serve everyone in the community, The Center is looking for the community's input with its latest survey. All Johnson County residents over the age of 40 are encouraged to take the survey.
The survey has been mailed to a random sampling of residencies where at least one person is aged 50 or greater. It also can be taken online. A paper copy can be requested at The Center's front desk during regular business hours.
With responses to the survey, The Center hopes to reimagine aging by offering the programs and services which meet the evolving needs of older adults in the area. The survey covers a range of topics, including how residents view The Center, experiences with aging, routine transportation, programming interests, and how people interact with local resources.
The survey should take around 10 minutes to complete, and will close Sunday, March 1, 2020. Translated surveys are also available upon request.
Any questions about this survey or about The Center, or requests for a translated survey, should be directed to 319-356-5220 or email at firstname.lastname@example.org.
