Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the annual community resale event Rummage in the Ramp, has been cancelled, and will be replaced by online activities and resources.

The Rummage in the Ramp planning committee would like to express appreciation and gratitude to all our volunteer groups and sponsors representing local non-profits, organizations, and businesses that make this event possible year after year.

Thank you for all you have done for past Rummages, and thank you for your continued meaningful work for our community during this unprecedented time.

This year, Rummage is moving from the ramp to virtual with several resources and activities shared this summer to promote responsible materials management, waste reduction, reuse, and repair.

For Iowa City residents moving during lease turnover time, July and August, we encourage those individuals to check out the Rummage in the Ramp website.

Resources will be shared soon on how to handle “stuff” that needs to be donated or properly disposed of, as well as, activities for reuse, repair and upcycling to reduce waste.

Stay tuned for virtual resources and information at www.icgov.org/rummageintheramp.
