The Robert A. Lee Community Recreation Center, 220 S. Gilbert St., will be temporarily closed starting at 10 a.m. Friday, Feb. 14, 2020, for building maintenance.

The recreation center will be open to the public in the morning prior to the closure from 6:15 to 10 a.m.

Maintenance and repairs to a men’s restroom require all water to the building to be shut down. The pool, drinking fountains, showers, restrooms, sinks, and all other water sources will not be operational during the closure.

Registration for activities and classes, facility reservations, activity passes, sales of swim passes, and other customer service-related services will be conducted from 6:15 a.m. to 9 p.m. at the Mercer Park Aquatic Center and Scanlon Gym, 2701 Bradford Dr.

Robert A. Lee is expected to reopen around 4 p.m. the same day, after maintenance and repairs have been completed.
