The Robert A. Lee Community Recreation Center and pool have been closed for repairs and maintenance, including replacement of the building’s boiler. The facility was expected to reopen Tuesday, Jan. 12, but a delay in the completion of the boiler project will extend closure of the facility until the weekend. Both the recreation center and the pool, which has also been closed for maintenance, are expected to reopen on Saturday, Jan. 16.

Patrons are encouraged to use the Mercer / Scanlon recreation facility at 2701 Bradford Drive this week.

Any additional updates will be posted to the Parks and Recreation Department’s web page at The department’s Rainout line, will also be updated once the facility is reopened.
