Celebrate nature and all that is winter in Iowa with Iowa City Parks and Recreation Department’s Winter Explorers Camp. Why stay cooped up inside when there are so many winter wonders happening outside? Dress warm with boots, snow pants, coats, hats and gloves. Ice art, snow experiments and Iowa wildlife are just a few of the fascinating topics that will be explored. Days will be filled with games, field trips, and swimming.

Winter Explorers Camp runs Dec. 27 & 28, 2018 and Jan. 2-4, 2019. Register for one day or many. Camp hours are 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., however supervised open play is available at no extra cost for families to drop off as early as 7:30 a.m. and to pick up as late as 5:30 p.m.
