The City's trick-or-treat event takes place from 5:30 - 8 p.m., Monday, Oct. 31. Before you go out, check out these safety tips from the Iowa City Police and Fire Departments:
Costumes should be safe for walking. Avoid long, billowing fabrics. Wear sturdy shoes. Be visible. Carry a flashlight or wear something lighted.
