Join us for the 3rd Annual Terry Trueblood Walk for Pancreatic Cancer on Saturday, Aug. 29 at 9 a.m. The event will be held at the Terry Trueblood Recreation Area at 579 McCollister Blvd., south of Iowa City. Check-in begins at 8 a.m. at Shelter #2.

This year’s entrance fee is $25 per person. Half of the event’s proceeds will go to support the American Cancer Society and the other half will go to a special fund for upkeep of the Terry Trueblood Recreation Area.

Registration is available online at or at the check-in desk on the day of the race at 8 a.m.

Each year, Iowa City Parks and Recreation holds this event in honor of the birthday of the late Iowa City Parks and Recreation Director Terry Trueblood. Those who are unable to participate but would like to donate to the fund, should send contributions to: City of Iowa City Parks and Recreation Department, Attn: Terry Trueblood Fundraiser, 220 S.
