The Story Wall at Black Hawk Mini Park has been finished, marking another completion in the Pedestrian Mall Improvements Project.
Now complete, the Story Wall illustrates the history of Black Hawk Mini Park, as well as displays plaques celebrating some of Iowa City's most famous residents.
On the east end of College Street by the Iowa City Public Library, all planter footings have been installed and the planter walls have gone up. The storm sewer work has also been finished, meaning crews will begin grading and paving this week.
