City Hall administrative offices will be closed on Monday, Feb. 15, 2016 in observance of Presidents' Day. The following schedules will be in effect for other City facilities on the holiday:

Airport: The office will be closed. Jet Air will be open normal hours.

Animal Center: Closed

Landfill: Closed

Library: The Library will close at 6 p.m.

Parking: Regular operations will be in effect. Parking facilities will be cashiered and parking regulations will be enforced.

Parks and Recreation: Offices will be closed. The Robert A. Lee and Mercer / Scanlon recreational facilities will be open regular hours, from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. Pools at both facilities will open at 6:15 a.m. The fitness room at Robert A. Lee will open at 6:30 a.m.

Police: Administration and Records offices will be closed, but Patrol operations will operate on a normal schedule.

Senior Center: Closed. Senior meals will not be served.

Solid Waste: Refuse and recycling will not be collected. Residents on the Monday route should place materials at the curb by 7 a.m. on Tuesday, Feb. 16. People on the Tuesday through Friday routes should have refuse and recycling at the curb by 7 a.m. on their regular collection day, although the City cannot determine exactly when items will be collected.

Transit: The Transit Division will operate on a normal weekday schedule.

Water: The Water Division will be closed, but a 24-hour emergency line and on-call staff will be available. In case of a water emergency, call 319-356-5166 for assistance.
