Iowa City Police are asking the public for help as they investigate a report of a suspicious vehicle near Wetherby Park. 

Police responded to the park on Sat. Aug. 20, 2016 at about 8: 20 p.m. A group of juveniles reported being in Wetherby Park when a vehicle, described as a white truck occupied by a single Hispanic male stopped and told the juveniles to get in. The group fled the park unharmed.

Officers were unable to locate the suspected vehicle in the area.

This incident remains under investigation and the Iowa City Police Department is requesting the assistance of the public.
