Iowa City Police officers are investigating a stabbing that happened May 7, 2017 just before 1 a.m. in the Ped Mall, near the fountain. Arriving officers quickly found the victim and a suspect. The victim was stabbed mutliple times and then transported to University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics by ambulance. The injuries do not appear  to be life-threatening. 

Police officers are still investigating and charges are pending. 

Iowa City Area CrimeStoppers is offering a reward of up to $1,000 for information leading to the arrest of the suspects.
