With work on the east end of College Street finished, the Ped Mall Improvements Project focus has shifted to the west end.

Crew members installed pavers, as well as planter foundations and walls. Work removing the composite brick and concrete from the intersection of College and Clinton streets has begun. Traffic signs will eventually be replaced as well.

Additional bike racks will be installed on both ends of College Street. The east end bike racks will be installed this week.

The next Ped Mall Renovation Project meeting will be held at 10 a.m. on Friday, Sept. 27, in Room D at the Iowa City Public Library.
