Bring the whole family out for a one-of-a-kind Party in the Park at Thornberry Dog Park from 6:30 to 8 p.m. on Thursday, June 20.

Visit Thornberry Dog Park, located at 1867 Foster Road, to enjoy doggie play time in the park’s off-leash areas, live entertainment by David Zollo, dog-toy craft making, and squirt-gun watercolor painting.

All dogs must have a park permit tag or a day pass to use the dog park areas. New to the Iowa City Dog Parks? No worries! Single Day passes can be purchased on-site for only $5 with proof of rabies vaccination. Once purchased, dogs and their owners at Party in the Park can enjoy the parks swimming area, a large play area, and small dog yard. Dogs must be accompanied by someone of at least 16 years of age and be on-leash upon entering and exiting the dog park. Tennis balls, doggie bags, and treats will be provided!

Party in the Park is a free event and open to the public. Visitors are encouraged to bring their own lawn chairs, blankets, and water bottles.
