A panel discussion on affordable housing is scheduled Monday, Oct. 5 from 6 to 8:30 p.m. in Meeting Room A of the Iowa City Public Library, 123 S. Linn Street. The public is invited to attend. Registration is not required, and there is no admission fee.
“Affordable and Accessible Housing Forum: Creating and Retaining Affordability in Johnson County” is sponsored by the City of Iowa City Human Rights Commission. Participants will include the City of Iowa City Housing Authority and Housing Inspection Divisions, Domestic Violence Intervention Program, Housing Trust Fund of Johnson County, Southgate Companies, United Action for Youth, and the University of Iowa Public Policy Center. The Human Rights Commission will serve as moderator.
