The issue of growing global inequality will be the topic of a program titled "Leading the Inclusive City" scheduled at 7 p.m. next Monday, March 21, in Meeting Room A at the Iowa City Public Library, 123 Linn Street. The event is open to the public, and no admission fee will be charged.

Professor Robin Hambleton will be the presenter, discussing global inequality and how cities can take steps to minimize inequality, advance social justice, promote environmental responsibility, and bolster community empowerment. Hambleton is a Professor of City Leadership in the Centre for Sustainable Planning and Environments at the University of the West of England in Bristol.

This event is sponsored by the City of Iowa City, University of Iowa School of Urban and Regional Planning, University of Iowa Public Policy Center, City of Coralville, City of North Liberty, and Johnson County.
