The Public Art Advisory Committee's (PAAC) survey on the future of Iowa City public art will be closing at 5 p.m. Friday, Aug. 27, 2021. Please take the survey online.

The PAAC exists to administer the Public Art Program by determining the placement of public art, type of art to be used, artists to be engaged, oversight of gifts of art, and expenditures related to the Public Art program.

The PAAC has narrowed its focus to a group of public areas and general project types and hopes to prioritize the use of approximately $30,000 in funding according to the community’s wishes. They are also interested in seeking your ideas from four categories determined in the Strategic Plan: Unexpected Art; Functional Art; Ephemeral Art, and Private Property Art.
