Iowa City Transit will no longer operate on its summer schedule and will resume regular service, beginning Monday, Aug. 15, 2016.   

Schedule changes are listed below:

  • The Towncrest and Oakcrest routes will resume operating 30 minute service all day, Monday through Friday. Night and Weekend service for the Towncrest and Oakcrest routes will be unchanged.
  • The free Downtown Shuttle route will resume operating.
