A free shuttle to the Martin Luther King Jr. Day of Service and Celebration event at Mercer Park and Aquatic Center will be offered on Monday, Jan. 16, 2023. 

The shuttle will service the following areas: the Pheasant Ridge Neighborhood Center, the Iowa City Transit interchange immediately followed by the Iowa City Public Library, the Broadway Neighborhood Center, and the bus stop near the intersection of Lakeside Drive and Nevada Avenue. 

The shuttles will begin running at 8:30 a.m. at the Pheasant Ridge and Broadway neighborhood centers, 8:40 a.m. from the Lakeside and Nevada intersection, and 8:45 a.m. from the Transit interchange. The shuttles before 9:45 a.m. will make a stop at Eastdale Plaza for the Unity March to Mercer. 

The shuttles will run every hour. The last departure from Mercer for each area will be 2:10 p.m.
