Adults 50 and older who are looking to stay active, curious, and connected are invited to participate in programs at The Senior Center this spring. Registration opens Friday, Dec. 14, 2018, for programming that runs from January - April 2019.

The Center will offer two new art classes in 2019, including a class dedicated to collaging found objects, and a drawing memories course. Meet at The Center each month for intergenerational social events including the popular All Ages Speed Friendshipping, as well as a trivia night, and tech forum.
Registration opens at 8 a.m. on Friday, Dec. 14, 2018. You can register:

Anyone age 50 and older can register for individual classes or join as a member, regardless of whether or not they live in Iowa City. As a member, enjoy the full Senior Center experience, which includes extended hours and access to fitness rooms, the computer lab and some classes. Members also have access to a discounted parking program in the connecting ramp.
The Center is also always looking for volunteers to teach classes, lead activities, or join a committee.
The Senior Center also offers space for your next event or gathering. Classrooms, fitness rooms, and the Assembly Room can be rented at an affordable rate. Non-profits qualify for a 50 percent discount. For more information, call 319-356-5221 or email email@example.com.
