In response to storm damage to local utilities, the Iowa City Public Library is sending out the Bookmobile to act as a pop up Tech Zone.

• Friday, August 14, 2020, the Bookmobile will be at Mercer Park at 2701 Bradford Dr. from 12-2 PM and then the Waterfront Hyvee at 1720 Waterfront Dr. from 2:30-4 PM
• Saturday, August 15, the Bookmobile will be at the Green State Community Credit Union at 825 Mormon Trek from 10 AM-1 PM

At these stops, there will be charging stations, free WiFi, as well as some laptops available to help fill out forms for storm-related relief. No Library materials will be available for checkout and only staff will be allowed on the Bookmobile. Safety precautions will be in place with masks being mandatory, some masks will be available for those without. Hand sanitizer and cleaning supplies will also be on hand for public use.
