On Thursday, June 16, 2022, at approximately 7:45 a.m., the Iowa City Metro Special Response Team served a search warrant related to recent shooting incidents at 1019 Carver Street. In order to protect both the public and responding officers, two armored vehicles were used to serve the warrant.

The warrant was served without incident and this is an on-going, active investigation. No further information regarding potential criminal charges or items seized will be released at this time.
