On Saturday, Nov. 28, 2020, at approximately 7:48 p.m., Iowa City Police responded to the area of Muscatine and First avenues for a report of a robbery. Officers located the adult man, who stated he was in the parking lot of Kum & Go, located at 2303 Muscatine Ave., when a woman approached him asking for assistance getting into her nearby residence. According to the victim, the woman was in her twenties, dark-skinned, and was wearing a blue sweatshirt, and pink cloth mask covering her nose and mouth. The victim agreed to help the women, and she led him into the alley just south of 2200 block of Muscatine Avenue. When they reached the alley, the woman sprayed him in the face with a chemical believed to be pepper spray. Two dark-skinned males then appeared in the alley and assaulted the man, taking an undisclosed amount of property and/or money from him. 

The victim suffered minor injuries in the assault, but declined medical attention. No additional suspect descriptions or information is available at this time.
