The plan is to close Dubuque Street for approximately 5 to 15 minutes at 11 a.m. and 6:30 p.m., however as a contingency, crews may close the road at 2 p.m. should the 11 a.m. work need to be delayed. Workers will not stop traffic more than twice per day.
The brief closures will take place between Terrell Mill Park, located just north of Mayflower Residence Hall and Church Street. A horn will sound before flaggers close the road. Drivers should expect delays and are encouraged to take a different route.
This process will continue Monday – Friday through at least August 23.
A reminder, the Gateway Project timeline is fluid and subject to change. Updates will be communicated as they become available.
