The Iowa City Farmers Market is returning to an in-person format on Saturday, May 1 from 7:30 a.m. – 12 p.m. with COVID precautions in place.  Customers, vendors, and staff will be required to wear masks while attending the market. Customer access to the Chauncey Swan parking garage will be limited to both the north and south entrances.

The market will feature some new and returning vendors. There are still opportunities to become a 2021 season vendor on Wednesdays, Saturdays, or both. If you or someone you know is interested in selling locally grown, home-made, or artisan products at the Iowa City Farmers Market, please review the 2021 Farmers Market Rules and Regulations to see if you qualify.

This opportunity is for the 2021 season and does not guarantee a vendor space during the 2022 season. Farmers with fresh locally grown produce will get priority, however, there are still opportunities for other types of vendors. There is no fee at the time of registration. New vendors that have reviewed the 2021 Vendor Handbook and feel confident that they qualify to be an Iowa City Farmers Market vendor can register at

The Iowa City Parks and Recreation Department will release additional information about the 2021 market closer to the start date. Questions can be directed to the Iowa City Farmers Market Coordinator, Tammy Neumann at
