The Iowa City Downtown District is looking for artists to participate in the GreenState Credit Union BenchMarks program.

The nationally recognized public art program, GreenState Credit Union BenchMarks is back! After a construction-induced hibernation, the BenchMarks program returns in 2020 and will see 11 of Iowa City's downtown public benches return as fresh canvasses for original, community artwork.

Submissions are now being accepted for the program. Each artist may submit up to three designs and may be selected for more than one design. Chosen artists will receive $250 as well as a $50 gift card to Dick Blick Art Materials.

The deadline for submissions is Tuesday, March 31, 2020.
