From Big Grove Brewery to Wetherby Park; an EV car show to a film screening, Iowa City Climate Fest returns with a bouquet of events across Iowa City from Sept. 21 through Sept. 24, 2022.

Spread across four days and seven different locations, Climate Fest will celebrate all the ways Iowa City residents, businesses, and organizations are taking action to address climate change.

The four-day event will feature numerous events that are made for the entire Iowa City community to enjoy:

Wed., Sept. 21: Kickoff Celebration at Big Grove Iowa City

  • Carbon recycling system tours, community bike ride, interactive climate commitment display, and more

Thu., Sept. 22: Climate Action in Motion

  • UI Dance Company performance, a film screening at FilmScene, and the climate-themed decoration of a bus shelter in Iowa City

Fri., Sept. 23: Party at Wetherby Park

  • Food trucks, live music, games, visit from ICPL Book Mobile, and more

Sat., Sept. 24: EV Car Show

  • Various City and community EVs will be on display at the Farmers Market
