Registration is now open for the U.S Equal Employment Opportunity Commission workshop, Diverse Discrimination: Employment Barriers Faced by People of Color. This workshop, which is ideal for human resource professionals, EEO/AA officials and other employment decision-makers, will be held on Friday, Jan. 22 from 8:30 to 10:30 a.m. at the Eastside Recycling Educational Center, 2401 Scott Boulevard SE in Iowa City.

The workshop will be facilitated by Maria E. Flores, Program Manager for the U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC), a 24-year veteran of the EEOC who is a highly-rated speaker and trainer.  

The event is free, but pre-registration is required. Sign-up is open through Wednesday, Jan. 20 or until all 45 spots are filled. To register, e-mail humanrights@iowa-city.org or call 319-356-5022.
