The Iowa City Community Band will perform Sunday, June 10, 17, 24 and July 8 2018, in several community parks as part of a series of special events funded through the City’s Program for Improving Neighborhoods, or PIN grants. Each performance includes free ice cream and will take place at a different park offering a variety of activities. All are welcome. 

Sunday, June 10: An Afternoon at College Green Park, 600 E College St.

Stop by from 2 to 5 p.m. and sample the fabulous food as part of this event’s Artisan Fair. The Iowa City Community Band will take the stage at 3 p.m. The historic Houser-Metzger, 623 E. College St., house will also be open for tours from 2 to 5 p.m. RSVP to the Facebook event

Sunday, June 17: Family Fun Day at Fairmeadows Park, 2413 Miami Dr. 

Swing by from 2 to 5 p.m. and meet public safety personnel while touring Iowa City Fire trucks, police vehicles and Johnson County ambulances. The Iowa City Community Band will perform at 3 p.m. RSVP to the Facebook event

Sunday, June 24: Willow Creek Park, 1117 Teg Dr.        

Enjoy an afternoon of live music performances by the New Horizon Band at 3 p.m. and the Iowa City Community Band at 4 p.m. RSVP to the Facebook event

 Sunday, July 8: North Market Square Park, 600 Fairchild St.
