Pedestrians and vehicles will have limited access to Terrell Mill Park beginning Monday, June 19, 2017.

Pedestrians will not be able to access the park, the University of Iowa Boathouse or skate park all day Monday as crews will be paving the elevated portion of Dubuque Street. Access is expected to reopen the morning of Tuesday, June 20.

Vehicles will not be able to use the Terrell Mill Park parking lot through Wednesday, June 21. The lot will reopen once the pavement cures and reaches adequate strength. Crews expect to reopen the parking lot sometime on Thursday, June 22.

Drivers with parking passes for this lot will need to park in the back lot of Mayflower Residence Hall while the lot is closed and access the area using the signed pedestrian route.

This work is part of the ongoing Iowa City Gateway Project, a flood mitigation effort that is elevating Dubuque Street while raising and replacing the Park Road Bridge.
