The Iowa City Police Department will host Coffee with a Cop from 9:30 to 11:30 a.m., Monday, Nov. 30 at High Ground Cafe, 301 E. Market Street. Coffee with a Cop is a national initiative that aims to build trust between community members and police officers, one cup of coffee at a time.

Due to the City Hall construction project currently underway, access to the MedRx container in the Iowa City Police Department (ICPD) lobby is not available at this time. The MedRx container allows residents to safely dispose of unused, unwanted and expired medications.

Construction work will continue through Friday, Dec. 11. The ICPD will provide notification when the MedRx container is again available.
