Update 8/1/2017: Work is taking a little longer than originally anticipated. Crews are looking to have the stairwell and second floor entry work completed in about a week, give or take.

The upper level vehicle entrance to Chauncey Swan Ramp from College St. is open, but reduced to one lane of alternating entering and exiting traffic, as concrete and joint repairs are made to the bridge and approach to the ramp.

The College St. entrance will remain open to alternating traffic throughout the project, which is expected to be finished by the end of July.

The stairwell project on Washington St. is nearing completion with stair tread work, drywall repairs, and repainting anticipated to be finished and reopened early next week. Work on the College St. stairwell is anticipated to be finished by the end of the month, with access remaining throughout the project.

Wednesday evening and Saturday morning Farmers Market visitors should pay special attention to construction, and use caution when entering and exiting the ramp during busy market times.
