Leaf Vacuum Schedule
Leaf pickup operations are suspended as of Nov. 26 due to pending weather conditions. City staff will assess the weather forecast for early December before determining whether the leaf vacuum program will resume in 2025. Please check back for updates after the holiday weekend.
With the additional leaves that have fallen, the Streets Division will see more leaf piles. More leaf piles will begin to slow progress through each zone. We are doing our best to estimate progress.
Crews will not go back for missed leaf piles. Leaves need to be accessible to crews and free of parked cars. To guarantee pickup, have all your leaves at the curb by 7 a.m. on the first day your zone is scheduled.
The leaf schedule is subject to change and will be updated daily. To receive updates via e-mail, visit www.icgov.org/e-subscriptions and select “Leaf Vacuum Program”.
To find out which zone your reside in, visit our Zone Map on this page and type in your address.
- Despite advanced preparation; equipment breakdowns and weather can slow or end the program early.
- Do not wait to rake. An early winter requires equipment and crews to be moved to snow removal.
- Paper yard waste bags with $2 yard waste sticker per bag or City issued organics (Yard waste & food waste) carts can be used in addition to the Leaf Vacuum Program and will be collected on your regular curbside service day through year-round.
- Residents can haul their leaves to the Landfill at 3900 Hebl Ave., 7 am to 4:30 pm Monday through Friday and 7 am to noon on Saturday. Yard waste fees apply; the cost is $24/ton with a $5 minimum charge that covers up to 400 pounds.
