Your Best Lawn practice helps residents enjoy greener lawns, use fewer chemicals, rebuild soil health, increase storm water infiltration rates, and improve water quality while sharing its cost through the City’s Storm Water Reimbursement Program.
Your Best Lawn is a partnership between the City of Iowa City, the cities of Coralville and North Liberty, and the Iowa Department of Natural Resources.
The drop-down information below provides step by step procedures for requesting a price quote from certified contractors, the implementation of the practice, applying for and submitting the City’s cost-share reimbursement application, and a certified contactors list.
(The reimbursement funding is limited. So funding is on a first come, first serve basis.)
