City Channel 4 has recorded and shared videos with Iowa City audiences for over 30 years - covering everything from City Council meetings to Ped Mall concerts, panel discussions to PSAs, lectures, interviews, community events, and much more. Members of the City’s Cable TV Office team use their creativity and skills, along with professional audio and video tools, to record and present high-quality, local programming on cable TV at City Channel 4 and at citychannel4.com.

Media production services are available to City of Iowa City departments and divisions. Additionally, some services are available to 501c3 non-profit organizations that serve Iowa City residents, depending upon availability. If you represent a non-profit organization and would like to request the recording of your upcoming community event, start the conversation by emailing Ty Coleman at tcoleman@iowa-city.org.

If you experience an issue with your cable TV or high-speed internet service, we suggest that you first contact your provider directly.

If you have attempted to have an issue resolved directly with your provider, but have been unsuccessful, contact Media Production Coordinator Ty Coleman for further assistance.
