The Iowa City New Horizons Band provides opportunities for older adults to play musical instruments. The band performs under the direction of UI Music Education students and professional music educators from within the band. Rehearsals this fall will be held at the Robert A. Lee Recreation Center. It's almost Halloween once again, so get the costumes in order and get those bags ready for some serious candy. Soon, kids will set-off for Halloween fun in neighborhoods throughout the City of Iowa City.

To ensure there are only intentional scares, and everything goes smoothly during Trick-Or-Treat Night (5:30-8 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 31, 2021), here are some important Halloween safety tips!

1. Wear a mask to cover your mouth and face for COVID-19 safety if social distancing isn't possible.
2. Try to maintain social distance when possible.
