About: Green Iowa AmeriCorps is a non-profit organization which assists residents in creating an energy efficient household. Services include energy assessments and weatherization for Iowa City residents who own or rent a house, as well as community outreach and education events.
Qualifications: An Iowa City resident which owns or rents a house.
About: Income eligible Iowa City residents can apply for fee discounts on certain programs. Applications are available at the Recreation Division office, 220 S. Gilbert St. A form must be filled out for each registration. A swim scholarship program is also available. Forms for the swim program are available online.
