This project includes Restoration of the west riverbank of the Iowa River immediately upstream of the Highway 6 bridge, and continuing approximately 635 feet upstream. The project will include clearing and grubbing, grading, placement of rip-rap revetment below the ordinary high-water line and construction of a segmental block retaining wall above the ordinary high-water line, erosion control, and site restoration. The project is located on the west bank of the Iowa River immediately north of Highway 6 in Iowa City, Iowa.
