This project includes upgrading the backup generation and electrical distribution system and is located at the City of Iowa City Wastewater Treatment Facility, 4366 Napoleon Street, SE, Iowa City, Iowa. This includes installation of owner-furnished equipment (a packaged engine generator and associated equipment and 15kV electrical switchgear). The project also includes installing electrical ductbank from the utility metering cabinets to and from the new packaged engine generator and switchgear. An existing building will be upgraded with a new roof, new HVAC equipment and plumbing and will be renovated to house a new battery room and switchgear.
