This project involves the removal, repair and/or replacement of existing primary and secondary clarifier equipment at the Iowa City Wastewater Treatment Facility. The four original clarifiers that were constructed circa 1989 still have their original carbon steel mechanisms that are severely corroded and are nearing the end of their useful life. All new and repaired equipment will have new protective coatings applied.
