The project involves installation of landscape improvements along two roadway corridors in Iowa City. The project includes all materials, labor and equipment necessary for construction of project improvements. Approximate quantities include: 205 shade trees, 149 ornamental trees, 171 shrubs, 8,193 perennials/bulbs, 630 square feet of face segmental retaining wall, mulch, traffic control and miscellaneous related work.

Milestone Completion Dates:
December 31, 2017 - the following work within both roundabouts shall be complete: Installation of the segmental retaining wall as shown on the plans and identified in the specifications; Installation of the Asian White Birch trees as shown on the plans; Installation of the Bulbs as shown on the plans.
May 31, 2017 - all remaining improvements and plantings not completed in the first milestone.
Liquidated Damages: $200 per day for improvements not completed in the first milestone
