Administrative offices at City Hall and other facilities will be closed Thursday, Nov. 22 and Friday, Nov. 23, 2018, for the Thanksgiving holiday. The ICPD Substation does provide a community meeting space for area organizations wishing to use the space for small group meetings. For questions regarding your eligibility to use the ICPD Substation or to schedule the meeting room for your group, contact Ashten Hayes.
The Iowa City Police Substation is open Monday – Friday 8AM to 4PM and hours may vary due to appointments. The public is encouraged to stop by the substation for crime prevention and community related information. The substation is not occupied at all hours and the Crime Prevention Officer is not available to take reports from the public. Those wishing to file a police report should call 356-6800 for an officer to respond.
