The Iowa City Municipal Airport will host the Noon Optimist Club's 47th Annual Pancake Breakfast from 7 a.m. to noon Sunday, Aug. 23, 2026.

The longtime tradition helps raise money for local charities through the area. Entry fee includes a full pancake breakfast. Admittance for adults and kids 11 and older is $10 each; $5 each for kids three to 10-years-old, free admission for kids under three years of age.

The event offers a whole lot more than just breakfast. Fire trucks from local entities, a UIHC helicopter, the Iowa Children's Museum, the Porsche Club, the Antique Car Club, the Iowa City Public Library's BookMobile, and more will be onsite. Those interested can even take part in airplane rides!
