Community members are invited to celebrate National Night Out - an exciting night of fun and connection - on Tuesday, Aug. 4, 2026! This annual event is designed to strengthen the community by building strong relationships between neighbors and law enforcement.

The City of Iowa City is hosting a National Night Out gathering from 5:30-8 p.m. at Wetherby Park, 2400 Taylor Drive. All are welcome to participate in family-friendly activities such as face painting, a bounce house, and interactive booths designed to engage children and adults alike.

Representatives from the Iowa City Police and Fire departments, as well local nonprofits and community service providers, will be on hand to chat about whatever is on your mind!

The City is grateful for the community partners who have made this celebration possible.
