The Iowa City Transit interchange will move back to its regular location on Washington Street, alongside the Old Capitol Town Center, on Monday, July 13, 2026.

The transit interchange has been relocated to Court Street between Clinton and Dubuque streets since June 1 due to road construction on Washington Street. 

The bus stops that have been closed throughout the Downtown area due to the interchange relocation will also return to normal service.
