Update: Due to forecasted weather, the Iowa City Senior Center (ICSC) will be moving its "Back to Beaker Street: A Dance Party" concert inside to the ICSC Assembly Hall. 

The concert features local favorites the Beaker Brothers Band, and starts at 6 p.m. Thursday, June 11, 2026, at the ICSC, 28 S. Linn St. 

The show, entitled "Back to Beaker Street: A Dance Party," is a show for all ages, featuring classic hits from some of the greatest musicians of all time: The Rolling Stones, Santana, The Grateful Dead, Steely Dan, and more. This classic music will be the perfect excuse to get you on your feet and dancing in Downtown Iowa City.

Beaker Brothers Band

For 20 years, the Beaker Brothers Band has been a staple of the Iowa music scene and a mainstay of Iowa City venues like The Englert Theatre and events like the Summer of the Arts. They perform some of the classics of the jam band era that were broadcast across the country in the 60s, 70s, and every decade since.
